Here's a quick look at which teams have undergone coaching changes since the start of the 2019-20 season:

Brooklyn Nets

Out: Kenny Atkinson (Nets, Atkinson agree to part ways)

In: Steve Nash (Brooklyn gives Nash his first NBA coaching job)

 

Chicago Bulls

 
Billy Donovan has taken over as coach of the Bulls.

Out: Jim Boylen (Bulls part ways with coach Boylen)

In: Billy Donovan (For Donovan, job with Bulls came 'out of left field')

 

Cleveland Cavaliers

Out: John Beilein (Cavs stunned by Beilein's resignation)

In: J.B. Bickerstaff (Cavs turn to Bickerstaff as rebuild continues)

 

Houston Rockets

Out: Mike D'Antoni (Coach opts not to return to Rockets)

Indiana Pacers

Out: Nate McMillan (Pacers fire McMillan after four seasons)

In: Nate Bjorkgren (Pacers hire Bjorkgren as new coach)

 

LA Clippers

Out: Doc Rivers (Clippers, Rivers move on after seven seasons)

In: Tyronn Lue (Clippers opt to promote Lue to top spot)

 

New Orleans Pelicans

Out: Alvin Gentry (Pelicans dismiss Gentry in August)

In: Stan Van Gundy (New Orleans turns to Van Gundy to lead team)

 

New York Knicks

 
The Knicks have hired Tom Thibodeau as their next coach.

Out: David Fizdale (Knicks fire Fizdale after 4-18 start)

In: Tom Thibodeau (Young Knicks turn to Thibodeau)

 

Oklahoma City Thunder

Out: Billy Donovan (Thunder, Donovan part ways after five season)

Philadelphia 76ers
